Built on Trust: Rooftop Solar for Endress+Hauser’s Innovation Center
Solential Energy delivered a 525 kW AC (626 kW DC) grid-tied rooftop solar array for the Endress+Hauser Innovation Center and G.E. Booth Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana. The ballasted roof-mounted system runs in parallel with the utility, producing clean power during sunlight hours and reducing demand on the grid.
About the Customer
Endress+Hauser (E+H) is a global leader in process instrumentation, known for high-precision sensors and measurement systems used across industrial facilities worldwide. With an existing solar asset already on campus, E+H’s new Innovation Center offered an opportunity to expand renewable generation in a visible, practical way.
The Challenge
During construction, Mayer Najem needed a solar EPC partner that could deliver without disrupting the broader build. The system had to be engineered for a complex rooftop environment, aligned with architectural intent, and executed on schedule.
- Rooftop PV coordination within an active construction timeline
- Clean design aligned with building requirements
- Full EPC execution from engineering through commissioning
- Long-term reliability to support E+H’s sustainability strategy
Solential’s Solution
This project was initiated through a proven working relationship. With an established connection between Solential the Mayer Najem team, Solential was trusted to step in and deliver a rooftop system that matched the Innovation Center’s standards—and the realities of a live construction site.
Solential served as the full EPC provider, delivering:
- A rooftop design optimized for output and integration
- Ballasted mounting to support rooftop installation without penetrations where applicable
- Engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning under one scope
- Tight coordination with Mayer Najem on sequencing, access, safety, and commissioning
- Alignment with E+H’s existing solar asset to support a broader campus energy strategy
- Operations and Maintenance support using our asset management software: SolView
Outcome
The Innovation Center now benefits from on-site renewable generation that supports Endress+Hauser’s sustainability goals while operating seamlessly day-to-day.
For Mayer Najem, the solar scope stayed aligned with the construction schedule.
For Endress+Hauser, the project expands clean energy generation across the campus.
For Solential Energy, it’s a clear example of what happens when strong partnerships and engineering discipline show up on time.
